Helio Health is providing school-based mental health and substance use services to 18 schools in the Westhill, Marcellus, West Genesee, Skaneateles, and Jamesville-Dewitt School Districts.
Helio Health’s school-based services are satellite clinics of our Integrated Outpatient Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. A clinician will be available on-site to work with students identified as needing additional support, referred by the school or by the family. Students will also have access to psychiatric assessment, medication management, crisis services, case management, psychosocial rehabilitation services and peer supports through the main Clinic.
Helio Health President and C.E.O. Jeremy Klemanski shared, “Bringing services to kids where they are is important to increasing access to care and improving the wellbeing of our children.”
School-based clinic services will be offered year-round, including school breaks, providing continuous access to care. Patients and families will also have access to their clinician via telehealth services during unexpected school closures.
