It just keeps getting worse for the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team.
The team announced Thursday that freshman forward Benny Williams will miss the remainder of the season with a lower-body injury that he suffered in Monday’s overtime loss to North Carolina.
Syracuse is already without center Jesse Edwards (broken wrist) and guard Symir Torrence (concussion).
Williams averaged 1.9 points and 1.4 rebounds in 29 games played this season. He had a career-high 14 points against Duke last weekend.
Syracuse hosts Miami on Saturday in the season finale. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
