The Syracuse women’s lacrosse team (4-1) suffered their first loss of the season on Tuesday evening with a 15-14 overtime loss to Northwestern (4-1) at Lakeside Field.
Emily Hawryschuk recorded a career-high nine points, including six goals. Sam Swart, Emma Tyrrell, Savannah Sweitzer and Jenny Marker each scored two goals to round out the scoring.
Lauren Gilbert earned a free position opportunity in overtime and scored the game-winner for Northwestern.
