Deputies: Driver went through stop sign causing serious, two-car crash on Rt. 104 in Williamson

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office provided an update on a crash that happened on State Route 104 in the town of Williamson.

Steven Boerschlein, 62, was traveling north on Fisher Road when he failed to stop at the instruction with Route 104. He went through the roadway- striking a vehicle that was traveling west on Route 104.


Deputies say Thomas Fredette, 84, of Baldwinsville and his passenger were both transported to Rochester General Hospital.

Boerschlein was cited for failure to stop. Deputies were assisted by the Ontario Fire Department and Ontario Ambulance.
