The village of Montour Falls will be replacing one of its older fire trucks in the coming weeks.
Mayor James Ryan says a rescue engine will be purchased from Churchville Fire Equipment and constructed by Pierce Manufacturing.
This new engine will replace the 22-year-old truck in service now.
It will join the Pierce built 2015 Quint and 2003 tanker pumper.
The $801,000 fire truck should be delivered in mid-2023.
