The Syracuse Crunch snapped a two-game skid on Saturday night with a 6-3 victory over the Utica Comets at Upstate Medical University Arena.
Crunch goaltender Max Lagace turned aside 22-of-25 shots to earn the win. Mareks Mitens stopped 21-of-26 shots before being relieved by Akira Schmid, who blocked both shots he faced.
Syracuse capitalized on their only power play opportunity and the penalty kill finished 2-for-2.
Gabriel Dumont, Anthony Richard, Gabriel Fortier, Sean Day, Remi Elie and Gage Goncalves all scored for the Crunch.
Samuel Laberge tallied twice for Utica while AJ Greer netted the other goal.
Syracuse will hit the road to take on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Sunday afternoon at 3:05 p.m.
