Sabres drop fifth straight with 5-3 loss to Blues

The Buffalo Sabres dropped their fifth straight game on Friday night with a 5-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues at Enterprise Center.

Dustin Tokarkski stopped 18-of-22 in the loss. Ville Husso turned aside 35-of-38 shots to earn the victory.

Buffalo’s power play went 1-for-5 and the penalty kill finished 2-for-3.


Dylan Cozens, Kyle Okposo and Tage Thompson scored for the Sabres.

Jordan Kyrou tallied twice for the Blues while Brayden Schenn, Jake Walman and Colton Parayko also found the back of the net.

The Sabres continue their road trip on Sunday in Dallas when they face the Stars at 2 p.m.
