Major League Baseball announced Friday that they have canceled three more days of spring training games as the league and players union have yet to reach a deal on a new collective bargaining agreement.
The earliest spring training games can start is March 8.
The league and players union have had meetings all week in Florida but the sides remain far apart, per Evan Drellich of The Athletic.
MLB also announced earlier this week that the regular season will be shortened if no deal is reached by February 28, and players would not be paid for the games that are cancelled.
The two sides are scheduled to meet again on Saturday afternoon.
