The Cornell men’s hockey team shut out Quinnipiac, 1-0, on Friday night at The People’s United Center.
Cornell goaltender Ian Shane made 42 saves to earn the victory. Yaniv Perets stopped 17-of-18 shots for Quinnipiac.
Jack Malone scored the only goal of the game in the first period on the power play.
The Big Red finished 2-for-2 on the penalty kill.
Cornell takes on Princeton Saturday night at Hobey Baker Memorial Rink in the final regular season game of the season. Face-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
