United Way of Cayuga County receives $10,000 donation from

2/22/22. A day presumed to be filled with good fortune. This year, a bit of folklore turned out to be true for the United Way of Cayuga County. 

On February 14, Sydney Radka, VP of Client Services at, reached out to the United Way of Cayuga County after receiving a newsletter containing their annual campaign update. She shared with Julisa Stone, United Way Marketing and Campaign Coordinator, that the team had seen that the 2021-22 Campaign was incredibly close to reaching its goal, and that they wanted to participate and support it.

No amount was disclosed in that initial email, Sydney simply asked if the United Way of Cayuga County Team could visit their offices.

Upon entering the offices, Julisa and Kathryn Dennis, United Way Executive Director were welcomed by the staff and presented with a check for $10,000 designated to a cause near and dear to the team: Programs supporting the communities’ children. “Our company is only as strong as the communities we serve. We’re fortunate to be able to support the vital work the United Way of Cayuga County does every day to help those who need it most, especially children,” said, Inc. President Jim Sinicropi.

The United Way of Cayuga County Annual Campaign runs until March 4th and this $10,000 gift gets them that much closer to their goal of $800,000. “Every campaign is a huge success.
