Police arrested a Rochester man for grand larceny.
According to a news release, New York State Police Investigators arrested Marshall B. Anderson, 50, of Brighton after an identity theft investigation.
Anderson is accused of stealing the identify of a co-worker’s spouse, opening bank accounts in their name, and depositing fraudulent checks using the stolen identity. He was arrested for identity theft, grand larceny, criminal possession of a forged instrument and scheme to defraud.
Anderson was remanded to the Ontario County Jail.
