The Humane Society of Greater Rochester’s Lollypop Farm has opened an investigation after Rochester police discovered an injured dog on Sunday.
Rochester police officers responded to a residence on Iroquois Street on Sunday, February 20 after neighbors reported potential animal abuse, according to WROC. Police were unable to locate the dog at first, but eventually found the animal, who appeared visibly injured.
Officials with the Humane Society have confirmed the dog is now in their care. Lollypop Farm’s Humane Law Enforcement Department is currently investigating the matter.
