Police say they were called to the Salvation Army in Ithaca for a fire on Tuesday around 11 a.m.
Now, police say an arson investigation is underway.
Investigators say it was learned that a clothing rack was intentionally set on fire by an unknown female that was shopping in the store. The fire was put out without any major damage or injuries.
However, the woman was not located at the scene when police arrived. She was described as a person standing nearly 6′ tall, with brown hair, in her mid-30s.
