Sexual harassment claims against Sheriff Kevin Henderson will be investigated by Ontario County Board of Supervisors

The Ontario County Board of Supervisors, who is conducting the investigation, discussed the 209 Committee’s progress at their Thursday, February 17 meeting, according to Finger Lakes Times.

The 209 Committee, named after Local Law 209, is chaired by West Bloomfield Supervisor Todd Campbell. The local law allows the board to appoint a committee with subpoena power to look into allegations against county officials.

Notably, Campbell gave no indication at Thursday’s meeting as to whether or not the committee’s report will be made public. He did, however, say that the committee has found actions by former and current senior-level sheriff department officials to violate county policies.
