The Syracuse Orange men’s lacrosse team (1-1) fell short to No. 1 Maryland (3-0), 14-10, on Sunday afternoon at the Carrier Dome.
Tucker Dordevic recorded a game-high six points, including five goals in the loss. Lucas Quinn also scored three goals for the Orange.
Bobby Gavin made some big saves to keep Syracuse in the game, but he didn’t get much help.

It's over at the Carrier Dome. Maryland 14, Syracuse 10. @CuseMLAX gave the Terps a game but ultimately couldn't match the physical style of Maryland. Bobby Gavin made some big, big saves to keep this close. Tucker Dordevic with 5 goals for SU. Wisnauskas with 4 for the Terps. pic.twitter.com/NOKBl2gHm6
