Cornell falls to St. Lawrence in OT, 2-1

The Cornell men’s hockey team fell to St. Lawrence, 2-1, in overtime on Friday night at Lynah Rink.

Cornell goaltender Ian Shane stopped 28-of-30 shots. Emil Zetterquist turned aside 19-of-20 shots to earn the victory for St. Lawrence.

Both teams were unable to convert on their power play opportunities as Cornell went 0-for-3 and St. Lawrence finished 0-for-4.

Kyle Betts scored the lone goal for the Big Red.

Reilly Moran and David Jankowski tallied for the Saints.

Cornell hosts Clarkson on Saturday night. Face-off is slated for 7 p.m.
