The Rochester Americans fell to the Utica Comets, 4-2, on Friday night at the Adirondack Bank Center.
Amerks goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen turned aside 26-of-29 shots. Nico Daws stopped 26-of-28 shots for the Comets to earn the victory.
Rochester was unable to convert on their power play opportunities as they went 0-for-6. The penalty kill finished 4-for-5.
Brett Murray and Patrick Polino scored for the Amerks.
AJ Greer provided all of the offense for Utica as he recorded four goals.
The Amerks take on the Crunch Saturday night at the Upstate Medical University Arena. Face-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
