Endorsements from Tompkins County officials keep rolling in for Lea Webb, who is running on the Democratic ticket for New York State Senate District 53.
Since Webb announced her candidacy in December 2021, she has received endorsements from 21 Tompkins County elected officials, including Ithaca Mayor Svante Myrick, according to Ithaca Voice.
Webb is up against fellow Democrats Danks Burke and Dr. Ammitai Worob for the newly-redrawn State Senate seat. The City of Ithaca was previously represented by Republican state Sen. Tom O’Mara in the 58th State Senate District prior to redistricting.
