Police report the arrest of a Seneca Falls man who had multiple active felony warrants.
According to a news release, the Seneca County Sheriff’s office arrested Shane E. Smolinski, 43, of Seneca Falls for resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.
Officers observed Smolinski who had multiple active felony warrants out for his arrest. When they attempted to place Smolinski into custody, he fled on foot and actively resisted arrest. He was located in the parking lot of a nearby business where he was then turned over to members of the probation department.
Smolinski will appear in the Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
