Tompkins Trust Company is committed to supporting the communities in which it operates, especially as individuals navigate critical life decisions such as homebuying. To help, Tompkins Trust Company will host two virtual First-Time Homebuyers Seminars on March 2nd from 12:00PM–1:00PM and April 6th from 6:00PM-7:00PM. The free workshop is open to the public and will provide information about special programs for first-time homebuyers including: zero-down payment options, grant availability, and pre-qualification criteria.
The seminar, which is an installment of Tompkins Trust Company’s Community Events Series, will provide information to help first time homebuyers navigate the various programs and services available to help start a home. It will be led by Tompkins Trust Company’s Residential Mortgage team who will review the ins and outs of the homebuying process. The expert-led event will include a question and answer session with attendees and a discussion of special first-time homebuyer products and services.
“Because of current mortgage rates, many people are considering purchasing a home,” shared Tompkins Trust Company’s Residential Mortgage Lending Manager Stacy Merrill “Navigating the process of buying a home for the first time can be incredibly exciting but also overwhelming, which is why we want to equip would-be buyers with the resources they need to navigate the journey of homeownership.”
