The Geneva Boys & Girls Clubs have launched an ambitious new program designed to support youngsters and their families in the critical early years of life.
Clubs Executive Director Chris Lavin says he was surprised to learn how early some kids can fall behind their peers in learning, and that’s what led him to start the First Thousand Days program.
Here’s a quick rundown on the program and how to sign up from the Boys & Girls Club:
Do you have a 0-4 year old? Would you like to participate in a free program that would help ease the strains of parenthood, as a young family?
If so, The First 1000 Days Program would be a great for you! Recently started, First 1000 Days is a free program that supports young families, operating in the Geneva Community Center. Through activities like toddler time, free breakfast, laundromat access and life coaching, and weekly groceries, we can help out and come together as a community to support Geneva’s youngest.
