Family displaced after house fire in Bloomfield

On Friday around 10:11 p.m. first responders were called to Gregg Road in Bloomfield for a structure fire.

The first firefighters on-scene were able to determine that there was an active house fire, and that all occupants were able to get out of the home safely.


Crews from the sheriff’s office, Bristol, Canandaigua, Cheshire, east Bloomfield, Victor, Ionia, Richmond, Naples, and Bristol Highway all responded to the scene.

RG&E also responded, cutting power off to the home. The American Red Cross was offered and responded to the scene to assist the residents.

No additional information was available about the blaze or status of its investigation.
