The Canandaigua Kiwanis Club holds its 22nd annual Classic Antique Show and Sale Sunday at Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack in Farmington.
Show organizer and Kiwanian Marianne Gallagher says proceeds will benefit Kiwanis children’s initiatives.
The Canandaigua Classic Antique Show and Sale returns to Canandaigua this February 13 for its 22nd year. Browse over 40 quality antique dealers who will be displaying and selling their wares at Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack, 5857 Route 96, Farmington from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is conducted in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua.
“We’re back better than ever,” said show organizer Marianne Gallagher. “This year’s wares will include country and period furniture, clocks, lamps and lighting fixtures, jewelry, postcards, paintings and books, linens, and all kinds of antique accessories. Returning this year were many dealers who have made the show a popular mid-winter event.”
In addition to checking out all the antiques, find out more about one of your own. From 11 to 2 p.m., H. Price Prazar will provide a verbal appraisal of antiques, books and collectibles for an extra fee.
This year’s show admission is $8 per person. Download a coupon for a $1 off at canandaiguaantiquesclassic.org. Food is also available throughout the day and there is plenty of free parking.
Some of the funds raised at the 2022 Canandaigua Classic Antique Show will help complete the Inclusion in Motion Playground in Canandaigua, a million dollar playground for all abilities. The annual antique show also grants funds, in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua, to promote arts and cultural philanthropy and to foster visual and performing arts appreciation for the residents of Ontario County. To date the antique show has donated more than $125,000 to cultural events such as the Finger Lakes Music Festival, Cobblestone Arts Center, Bristol Valley Children’s Theater and the Plein Arts Festival in Canandaigua.
