Williamson man arrested after disturbance at local gas station

Police report the arrest of a Williamson man.

According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Keith A. Sutton, 30, of Williamson following a disturbance at a Lyons gas station.


It is alleged that Sutton entered a Sunoco gas station and attempted to leave with alcohol without rendering payment. Upon being confronted by an employee, Sutton threatened the man with a knife. He was charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing, and petit larceny.

Sutton was issued a ticket to appear in the Lyons Town Court at a later date.
