NYSAC sends packet to local officials on how to deal with cyber security threats

New York State has sent a preliminary packet to local governments across the state with information related to cyber security.

The primer pack was created by the New York State Association of Counties (NYSAC) and Center of Technology in Government at SUNY Albany, according to Fox 40.

They’re looking to train officials on how to respond to threats of cyber attacks at the local-level and protect public data should such an event occur.
