A GoFundMe campaign has been launched for the Fayette family that lost everything in a house fire this week.
According to the GoFundMe page, Scott and Kari Mack, their two children, and a relative, all escaped the fire on MacDougall Road.
Scott went into the home to save his wife, and they escaped by going through an upstairs window.
A space heater was blamed for the fire. Scott is a cook at the Red Apple Restaurant located in Waterloo.
The American Red Cross has been helping the family with housing and immediate supplies.
