An Elmira man was arrested on Wednesday, February 9 in Rochester after being indicted by a Chemung County Grand Jury for murder.
The Elmira Police Department says Edelmiro Velez Ross-Toro, 29, has been arrested. He is accused of stabbing and killing Jeremy Scharborough, 35, on December 19, 2021.
The incident took place in front of Branch Office Bar on Washington Ave. in Elmira, according to WENY.
Ross-Toro is currently being held at Chemung County Jail while awaiting his day in court. He is being charged with murder in the 2nd-degree.
