Just hours after special teams coordinator Heath Farwell left to join the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Buffalo Bills have already found his replacement.
The team named Matthew Smiley as their new special teams coordinator.
Smiley has spent the last five seasons as Buffalo’s assistant special teams coach. He filled the same role for the Jaguars for four seasons before joining the Bills.
Smiley has nine years of coaching experience in the NFL and eight years of experience in college football.
