The Auburn YMCA-WEIU will host its next session of a free fitness program for cancer survivors from March 21 through June 8.
The 12-week Livestrong program is available to any adults who have undergone cancer treatment, according to The Citizen. The program meets for twice a week for 75 minutes at no cost to participants.
Participants are encouraged to work at their own level, with sessions including individual and group activities related to cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and stretching and balance work. The program includes a subsidized 12-week membership to the Auburn YMCA-WEIU.
