Minor League Baseball announced Thursday that six additional games will be added to the 2022 Triple-A season, expanding the schedule to 150 games.
The Rochester Red Wings will now close the season at Frontier Field with a three-game series against the Worcester Red Sox from Monday, September 26 through Wednesday, September 28.
The Syracuse Mets will now close the season at NBT Bank Stadium with a three-game series against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs from Monday, September 26 through Wednesday, September 28.
The 150-game schedule will be the longest for any Minor League team since 1964, according to the press release.
