The RIT men’s hockey team cruised to a 5-1 victory over Sacred Heart on Tuesday afternoon in a makeup game at Army’s Tate Rink.
Andrew Rinaldi scored a pair of goals to lead the Tigers. Dan Willet, Will Calverley and Grady Hobbs also netted goals.
Austin Magera scored the lone goal for Sacred Heart.
Tommy Scarfone stopped 14-of-15 shots to earn his third win of the season.
Justin Robbins made 14 saves for the Pioneers before he was relieved by Josh Benson who made nine saves.
RIT is back in action on Friday when they host AIC. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
