Police: Geneva man held on bail after slapping protected person during domestic incident

Police arrested a Geneva man after he violated a court order. Now he’s being held on $5,000 cash bail.

According to a news release, Dajuan Sims, 27, was charged with a felony count of criminal contempt.

He’s accused of violating a court order in November- slapping a person in the face several times.

That individual suffered physical injury as result of the incident.

Police say Sims was held on bail and will answer the charge at a later date.
