The RIT men’s hockey team defeated the Bentley Falcons, 2-1, on Friday night at Bentley Arena.
With the victory, RIT improves to 12-10-2.
Goaltender Tommy Scarfone turned aside 29-of-30 shots for the Tigers. Evan DeBrouwer stopped 26-of-28 shots for the Falcons.
RIT was unable to convert on their power play opportunities as they went 0-for-4 while Bentley went 1-for-5.
Dimitri Mikrogiannakis and Jake Hamacher each scored a goal for the Tigers. Nick Bruce, Cody Laskosky, Ryan Nicholson and Carter Wilkie each recored an assist.
Harrison Scott scored Bentley’s lone goal.
RIT will take on Bentley in a rematch on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.
