A Ithaca man has pleaded guilty to federal food stamp fraud.
Abdul Jalil, 55, admitted to exchanging food stamp benefits for cash at his store, Ithaca Halal Meat and Grocery.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 25, 2022, where Jalil faces up to five years in prison and a fine of $250,000, according to WETM.
