Deputies report the arrest of a Marion woman following a welfare fraud investigation.
According to a news release, Lisa Decorce, 37, was charged with third-degree welfare fraud, third-degree grand larceny, and four counts of offering a false instrument for filing.
It’s alleged that Decroce intentionally lied about her resources while applying for Temporary Assistance and received over $11,000 fraudulently.
She was arraigned and will answer the charges at a later date.
