City of Hornell Mayor John Buckley announced Monday, January 24 that the city will offer free COVID-19 rapid testing on Wednesday, January 26 at the Hornell Community Arts Center. The clinic is part of an ongoing partnership with Steuben County Public Health and will be administered by the Hornell Fire Department.
Testing will be provided from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the arts center located at 58 Broadway Mall, according to The Evening Tribune.
No appointment is necessary and testing will take about 10 minutes per person. Residents are asked to wear a mask while on the property and monitor themselves for COVID-19 symptoms prior to attending. If they feel ill, residents should contact their healthcare provider for further instructions.
