State police report the arrest of an Elmira man following an incident at a Southern Tier motel.
According to a news release, troopers were called to the Mark Twain Motor Inn for the report of destroyed property.
They found one of the rooms severely damaged.
The sole occupant, identified as Cory Roth, 29, of Elmira, was responsible for the damage.
He was issued an appearance ticket for criminal mischief.
The charge will be answered at a later date.
