The New York Giants have hired Buffalo Bills Assistant GM Joe Schoen as their next general manager, the team announced on Friday.
Former Giants GM Dave Gettleman announced his retirement two weeks ago.
Schoen was hired by Bills general manager Brandon Beane to be the team’s assistant general manager shortly after he took over in 2017, and has remained in the same role with the Bills for the past five seasons. Schoen had been the director of player personnel for the Miami Dolphins from 2014 to 2017.
