The Cayuga Lake Wine Trail is holding a Valentine’s Day wine tour- called Sweet Treats for Your Sweetheart- on Saturday February 12. Attendees can choose from multiple pre-planned itineraries that will take them to six participating wineries.
At each stop, guests will enjoy sweet treats and equally delicious wine. They’ll also receive three additional wine tastings, a stemmed rose at each stop, a souvenir sparkling wine glass, and a digital recipe book to recreate their favorite sweets. Some of the decadent treats includes Triple Berry Chocolate Mousse, Chardonnay Pound Cake with a Vanilla Citrus Glaze, Chocolate Baklava, and Red Velvet Cupcakes. These sweets will be paired with hand-picked wines that complement each bite.
“We’re extremely excited to be bringing you this fun, new event. We’ve structured this for tables of two, so it’s a wonderful opportunity to take someone on a date to celebrate Valentine’s Day.” says Cayuga Lake Wine Trail’s Executive Director Katherine Chase. “We’ve got wine, sinful treats, and flowers- what more could you ask for?”
Though it’s billed as a Valentine’s event, there are no requirements as to who can purchase a table for two. Friends, family, seasoned couples, and first dates all are welcome to enjoy a day of wine, sweets, flowers, love, and laughter.
Tickets are $55 per person and sold as tables for two. If you want to double date, there’s an option to be seated at a table for four. Tickets are on sale now and available here.
The Cayuga Lake Wine Trail Wineries remain up to date with current state mandates and adjust as needed. Those still open for the season continue to keep their employees masked, engage in additional cleaning practices, and keep safety at the forefront of their minds.
