Syracuse man failed to appear on disorderly conduct charge in Seneca Falls

Police say a Seneca Falls man was taken into custody after failing to appear.

Scott Meldrum, 34, of Syracuse was arrested on a bench warrant out of Seneca Falls Town Court on January 17.


According to a news release, Meldrum was originally charged with disorderly conduct in August 2021.

He never appeared, resulting in the bench warrant.

Police said Meldrum was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
