Movie theaters can serve beer and wine.
The bill that was signed into law last year, allowing movie theaters to sell beer and wine will soon hit the ground running. Or at least that is the intention.
Starting Thursday, the State Liquor Authority will begin accepting applications from movie theaters to start selling beer and wine.
Cinemas who have already had a license, through previous exemptions, will be allowed to begin selling beer and wine immediately.
The State Liquor Authority voted unanimously this week to move forward.
