Difficulties reported with accessing at-home COVID-19 tests through new government website

Some Americans living in apartments are reporting difficulties accessing free at-home COVID-19 tests through the new website soft-launched Tuesday January 18, reports News 10 NBC. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki says website is in “beta testing” phase and has a “limited capacity” prior to its official launch.

An issue has cropped up with the site’s address verification tool- it currently only allows one family member per building to request the at-home tests, capping the number at four tests per household. A spokesman for the Postal Service told the Associated Press that this error came up for “a small number of orders.”
