Dylan Larkin scored with 3:53 remaining in overtime to clinch a 3-2 victory for the Detroit Red Wings over the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center on Monday.
Buffalo led 2-0 midway through the third period. Vladislav Namestnikov put Detroit on the board with a shorthanded goal with 9:39 remaining in regulation. Larkin netted the tying goal less than four minutes later.
Henri Jokiharju and Jeff Skinner scored goals for the Sabres. Aaron Dell made his third straight start in goal and made 32 saves.
Alex Nedeljkovic made 26 saves for the Red Wings.
The Sabres take on the Ottawa Senators Tuesday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
