A Prattsburgh man faces a number of charges after three people were hospitalized in a crash earlier this month.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s office reports that on January 14 deputies arrested Carlos Mendez, 44, of Prattsburgh following an investigation into a January 4 crash.
The crash happened on Cook School Road, according to deputies, who described the crash as serious.
After investigation it was determined that Mendez was intoxicated, causing his vehicle to leave the road.
He and two passengers in the vehicle were injured. All three were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
As result of the wreck, Mendez was charged with felony reckless endangerment, DWI, speeding, failure to keep right, and no seat belt.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
