The Waterloo Volunteer Fire Department announced that it received the annual donation of $15,000 from Seneca Meadows landfill. This donation was woven into the Host Community Agreement with the Town of Seneca Falls back in 2007, and has occurred every year. This year’s funds will be used to finish paying for a specialized transport vehicle that was acquired last year with landfill host monies.
The Waterloo Village Police Department also announced today that it received part one of two donations to completely fund their new smartphone application that was released early 2021. The smartphone application includes many features including recent arrests, most wanted alerts, research on area sex offenders and additional notification alerts. The smartphone application is available for free in the app stores. Search ‘Waterloo Police NY’ to download.
In addition, the Waterloo Village announced today that it received a $15,000 grant to fund additional essential services for Village residents.
“We appreciate Seneca Meadows and their commitment to the community and its residents. They most assuredly help to increase the quality of life for Waterloo Village residents,” said Mayor O’Connor.
