The Cornell men’s hockey team will play a New England-based Ivy League program on Saturday — it just won’t be the one it was originally scheduled to see.
Due to COVID-19 concerns and safety protocols within the Brown men’s hockey program, Cornell’s game against the Bears scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 15 has been postponed. A makeup date has not yet been determined.
But with that postponement comes a window of availability in the schedule that will allow the Big Red to visit Yale for an ECAC Hockey and Ivy League game at 7 p.m. Saturday. The teams had originally been scheduled to compete on Friday, but that game was postponed earlier this week. ECAC Hockey announced Friday morning that Cornell and Yale will now square off 24 hours after its originally scheduled meeting.
