Pennsylvania residents face drug and weapons charges after Steuben County Sheriff’s Department stop in Bath

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on January 10, 2022, deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brandon L. Tuttle, age 37, of Westfield, Pennsylvania and Karley R. Knickerbocker, age 19, of Westfield, Pennsylvania following a traffic stop in Bath, New York.


It is alleged that Mr. Tuttle possessed a pistol and a quantity of suspected methamphetamine in the vehicle. It is also alleged that Ms. Knickerbocker attempted to conceal or destroy physical evidence and possessed a controlled substance during the traffic stop. Mr. Tuttle was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a class B Felony, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, a class D Felony, and Obstructed License Plate. Ms. Knickerbocker was charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence, a class E Felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.

Mr. Tuttle was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and released. Ms. Knickerbocker was released on an appearance ticket to return to the Village of Bath Court at a later date.
