The companies Accurate Calculation Guarantee covers up to $1,000 for penalties incurred if the mistake was Cash App’s fault.
The reimbursement will be in the form of gift cards.

Is it safe to use the app’s service to file tax returns?
According to AS.com, the company’s website says the service will “use 128-bit or higher encryption to protect the transmission of your data to Cash App Taxes.”
Tax data is subjected to different, stricter laws.
The service will also use 2 factor authentication with third party teams to look for gaps in security.
