Deputies say they responded to a personal injury crash on Rt. 288 in the area of Pettit Road around 11 p.m. on Thursday.
Sarah Pane, 26, of Phelps was westbound on Rt. 488 when she lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle left the roadway, struck a ditch, then spun back into the road.
She suffered minor injuries as result of the crash, and was transported to Clifton Springs hospital. She’s expected to make a full recovery, according to deputies.
Hopewell Fire Department and Canandaigua Emergency Squad also responded to the scene.
The road was closed for approximately 30 minutes while crews worked the scene.
Deputies said Pane was operating at a speed that was too fast for the weather and road conditions. She was cited for speed unreasonable and will answer that ticket at a later date.
