The New York health care worker vaccine mandate is now a booster mandate.
Governor Kathy Hochul said Friday health care workers must get a booster within two weeks of becoming eligible. “Staff is getting sick. They’re leaving. We need them to get well,” the Governor said at a Friday news conference.
The only exemptions to the booster mandate will be for medical reasons. California and New Mexico are the other states to institute booster mandates.
